Hamburg, 8 December 2022 – Lucy Thomas joins Bauer Media Audio as its Chief Financial & Operating Officer. In this role, she will drive the transformation of Bauer Media Group's Audio business to capitalise on the opportunities ahead. Bauer Media Audio operates in nine countries across Europe and is home to popular and distinctive radio and audio brands.

Lucy, who will join Bauer on 1 May 2023, is a highly experienced media, finance and data specialist. She has been with Sky since 2000 progressing through a range of Commercial Finance Director and MD roles before she became Group Chief Data Officer in 2019. In her new role she will be reporting into Anna Sedgley, CFO Bauer Media Group, and Richard Dawkins, President of the Audio Business Area.

Richard Dawkins comments: “Lucy is a perfect match as she has extensive experience across finance, commercial and data roles and is highly knowledgeable about media and technology. This broad skillset will give a further edge to our audio strategy.
