Bauer Media announces organisational changes in Norway – Nyegaard takes on combined leadership of both Audio and Outdoor
Hamburg/Oslo, 2 December 2025 – Bauer Media is consolidating the top leadership of its two Norwegian companies, Bauer Media Audio (BMA) and Bauer Media Outdoor (BMO). Dennis Højland Nyegaard, who currently leads BMO, will expand his role and assume overall responsibility for both businesses in Norway. The editorial leadership of Bauer Media Audio remains unchanged, with Kristoffer Vangen continuing as Editor-in-Chief.
The change is a strategic move aimed at strengthening Bauer Media’s commercial position in a market where cross-platform collaboration, data-driven development and integrated customer solutions are becoming increasingly important.
"By bringing the leadership teams together in Norway, we can unlock the combined potential of two strong media channels – radio and out-of-home. Our goal is to move faster, share expertise more efficiently and further enhance the commercial offering we provide to advertisers", says Dennis Højland Nyegaard.
No operational changes for customers and partners Both businesses will continue as independent professional environments with their own commercial, creative and operational teams. All customer contact points, structures and deliveries remain unchanged. Opportunities for closer collaboration across the two organisations will be evaluated gradually and only where they provide clear value for advertisers and audiences.
"This is an exciting step for Bauer Media in Norway. Audio and Outdoor are strong specialist environments – and they will continue to be. My role is to identify where closer collaboration makes sense, without disrupting what already works well. I look forward to developing an even stronger offering for listeners, audiences and advertisers", says Nyegaard.
A Norwegian model
The consolidation of leadership applies only to Norway. All other Bauer Media markets will continue with their established structures. The change reflects a clear ambition to leverage synergies where they create added value – without altering what already works well in the two organisations.
As part of the transition, Jim Receveur will conclude his interim leadership of Bauer Media Audio in Norway and return to his role as CEO of Audio Denmark.
Vivian Mohr, President of Audio at Bauer Media Group, emphasises that the reorganisation is a targeted and strategic decision.
"Aligning our leadership structure in Norway enables sharper strategic focus and faster execution, while allowing Denmark and other markets to maintain the models that work best locally. These changes support our long-term ambition to grow, evolve and stay ahead in an increasingly competitive media landscape", Mohr explains.
