Hamburg, April 8 2021 – Effective May 1st, 2021 Anna Sedgley will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Bauer Media Group. She will succeed Sarah Vickery, who has held the position ad interim and, after a handover period, will return to her role as CFO and Strategy Director of Bauer’s Audio Business Area from July onwards.

In this position, Anna will shape the central financial structures guiding Bauer Media Group’s commercial success and future development towards a multi-business company with diverse media and digital brands that enrich people’s everyday lives.

Anna brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and management in media and tech, with a strong expertise in evolving business practices for an increasingly digitalised media market. She joins from Afiniti, an artificial intelligence company based in the USA. Prior to that, she held executive positions at Dow Jones, a News Corporation company.
