Our Communities

We are proud to be part of the communities we serve.

Our business is global, our engagement is local

Our radio stations, magazines and newspapers have a direct connection to our local communities and are actively involved in raising awareness and support for important local issues. Some examples include:

  • INITIATIVES AND CAMPAIGNS IN POLAND

Our Polish radio station, RMF FM, runs its annual Better Tomorrow initiative, where listeners vote for their favourite impact projects to receive financial support. In addition, Polish magazine, Twój Styl, supports the fight against cancer with the Pink Ribbon campaign, which offers readers discounts on preventive breast cancer examinations. The magazine also transfers the net profit from its Twój Styl Excellence of the Year competition to a local cancer charity. In a long-running engagement, our SEO company Sunrise System supports children in need with an annual activity shared together with employees.

  • BREAST CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN (DENMARK)

In Denmark, our radio station, NOVA, runs a long-standing annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to support the campaign Støt Brysterne in spreading the word about breast cancer and raising money for research and preventive care.

  • INITIATIVE BETTER TOMORROW (GERMANY)

In Germany, all sustainability activities are gathered under the umbrella of Initiative Better Tomorrow, which also provides audiences with related editorial content from across brands to inform and inspire everyday action.

  • CASH FOR KIDS (UK)

In the UK, our radio brands come together to support the Cash for Kids network of local charities. By harnessing their collective audio reach, our UK brands give disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable children a brighter future.

  • ROMA SPIRIT PROJECT (SLOVAKIA)

In Slovakia, Rádio Expres is an active partner of the annual Roma Spirit project, focussing on improving the living situations of the Roma minority in Slovakia.

  • PARTNERING WITH LE RIRE MÉDECIN (FRANCE)

In France, Maxi magazine is partnering with Le Rire Médecin, a non-profit which aims to improve the wellbeing of children in hospital by organising bedside visits from professional clowns to make them laugh.
