We have a global presence spanning 20 countries on four continents, tapping into new markets and collaborating across borders.
As a family-owned company we are independent, fast and flexible. Our global turnover was 2.3 billion EUR in 2014. We are growing in both the classical magazine business as well as the digital and radio sectors: with over 600 magazines worldwide, more than 400 digital media and over 100 radio- and tv-stations.
Internationally we are the market leader in many sectors today. The publisher Heinz Bauer laid the foundations for this success in the 1980s through his activities in the USA. Today we generate two thirds of our turnover abroad. In previous years we made important acquisitions in Great Britain and Australia for example.
