As part of the group HR team based in the headquarters of the Bauer Media Group in Hamburg, the HR Business Partner for Executive Management (f/m/d) supports the Senior HR BP for group Executives and Reward in all people matters along the HR cycle. Thereby the HR Business Partner Executive Management shall provide high-quality and target-group oriented HR operations, service and consulting for all managers across the business units and contribute to the execution of corporate HR processes within the respective international environment.

The adding value of the role is to ensure compliance of employment contracts, improvement and agility of contract management as well as cost control. The person will report to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Executives and Reward.


Your responsibilities

  • Support the Senior HRBP for Group Executives in Managing the Top Executives of Bauer Media Group
  • Build up together with the relevant internal and external stakeholders a compliant and easy as well as reliable to operate system for Top Executives Operations.
  • Drives all activities to recruit best talented people in time, incl. e.g. cooperation with search firms, contracts design and negotiation as well compensation and benefits
  • Consult the business units regarding compensation and incentivation according adequate benchmarks
  • As part of the global HR team you will develop and further enhance global HR processes and standards by bringing the demand of your respective target group to the discussion as well as bringing these processes and standards into action accordantly.
  • Build up a network of external suppliers
  • Preparation, administration and follow up of Multi-State and Executive Contracts
  • Strong collaboration with the HR community


Your qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in international business administration, international law or any other discipline complementary to the role
  • Ideally 2 to 4 year HR Business Partner experience in an international environment
  • A solid understanding of people needs working in a remote environment
  • Intercultual experience
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Precise, reliable and trustful
  • Future oriented, solution driven and resilient
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German
  • Another language such as Polish, Spanish etc. would be advantageous
