THIS ACQUISITION MAKES BAUER XCEL MEDIA THE NO. 1 IN THE DIGITAL BEAUTY SEGMENT IN AUSTRALIA

March 2015 – Bauer Media Australia has taken over the beautyheaven Group, the leading Australian enterprise in the beauty segment, thus extending the portfolio of Bauer Xcel Media, the global umbrella brand of its digital activities worldwide. The beautyheaven Group comprises the three online platforms beautydirectory, beautyheaven as well as the recently founded homeheaven subsidiary.
The platforms of the beautyheaven Group provide a compelling mix of current product information, industry news, tips from experts, shopping directories as well as options for advertising and obtaining product samples – online, mobile and in the social media field.

• beautyheaven, Australia’s leading social beauty network with a highly involved female user community and a compelling mix of consumer ratings and advisory services by industry experts. This website has already received 160,000 ratings of 450 brands.
• homeheaven was founded in 2014 and offers consumers a forum for carrying out product research, exchanging household tips, trying out exciting recipes, discovering guides for do-it-yourself persons and for making active contributions to a group that expresses purchase recommendations in order to beautify their homes.
