Business Operations PMO / SME Services (f/m/d)

We look to add to the team in Amsterdam, Hamburg or Berlin (no relocation possible).

The Business Operations PMO will work closely with the C-level suite of the Business Area to ensure prerequisites for our transformation roadmap are met, key performance metrics & measurements are implemented and tracked, and business enablers are implemented. To this end, they will also be required to lead implementation projects across all areas of the business.

The Business Operations PMO will be part of the Transformation team who will be leading all change management and strategy execution of the SME Service Business Area (BA).

Responsibilities

Strategy & Operations:

  • Lead workstream (Group & BU resources) to structure and prepare international expansion of BA proposition & test setups
  • Support preparation of Global Management strategy presentation
  • Support (design and) execution of implementation plan

Strategic project management:

  • Support Business Area (BA) Leadership Team on central initiatives across all categories of the business (front and back office)
  • Translate BA strategy into tangible workstreams; structure and oversee implementation
  • Co-ordinate cross-BU projects and ensure alignment with BA vision

Business Operations – co-sharing with HR PMO:

  • Define platforms, standards, and best practices for communication infrastructure & channels
  • Create knowledge database; common understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and product vocabulary; create central knowledge repository
  • Ensure smooth governance mechanisms (ensure alignment along the BUs, BA, and Group)
  • Co-ordinated meeting cycles
  • Ensure consistency of review cycles, content, and format
  • Transparency of operations
  • Create information, data and structures to ensure clarity and transparency on status of BA and BUs
  • Dimensions: Corp IT, Communication, HR, (align with Finance)

Requirements

  • Fluent in English. (German, Polish or Hebrew advantageous)
  • Academic degree required (Bachelor); Advanced degree (Masters, MBA or equivalent) in a business, technology or computer science field an advantage
  • >5 years of relevant work experience in PMO or a strategy role in the digital media or tech industry
  • Structured thinker, able to translate high-level strategy into concrete operational setups and project workstreams – a must
  • Strong Project Management skills – a must
  • Knowledge of (digital) media, e-commerce, SaaS product development environments an advantage
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken); able to adjust to all levels of stakeholders – from Group C-Level to BU core teams
  • Solid business financial skills
  • Strong user of Microsoft suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Experience with specific PM software an advantage (Jira, Adobe Analytics, Monday, etc.); ability to implement it cross geographies a clear plus
