BRAVO Sport – the digital multimedia brand linking all platforms
Bauer Media Group launches online portal BRAVOSport.de
Fans now have their very own internet portal for the young sports media brand of the BRAVO Group at www.bravosport.de. BRAVOSport.de is a communicative dialogue platform with all the content that makes the BRAVO Sport brand what it is. On the website young visitors will find the latest news on national and international football, Formula One, MBA and leisure sports. The offer highlights interactive and visual elements.
“As Europe’s biggest youth sports media brand, BRAVO Sport now categorises the latest sports news for its users in all relevant channels – print, online, social media and mobile – and, what’s more, around the clock”, says Stefan Gröner, CEO of Bauer München Redaktions GmbH.
With the launch of the new portal, BRAVO Sport will be the first brand in the BRAVO Group to take on a digital multimedia character. It lifts the barriers between print product, website, social media and mobile. Every story in BRAVO Sport is consistently linked up with the brand’s digital content. Visitors to BRAVOSport.de, Facebook and the mobile BRAVO Sport View offer will now also find it even easier to get backstage as all BRAVO sports editors are visibly present on all platforms, and can be contacted directly by site users.
The portal’s technical development and implementation was realised by Bauer Digital KG. Like the BRAVO and TV Movie portals, BRAVOSport.de uses Bauer Digital KG’s Drupal-based content management system, which it developed in-house.
