Bauer Media Group raises the bar for augmented reality and creates a 3-D house with direct Internet link for BHW

The Bauer Media Group is purposefully expanding its product range in the area of augmented reality and underlines its innovative leadership in this segment. The Bauer Media Group is the only media company to offer additional mobile content via augmented reality in every issue of 6 different magazines.

Using the innovative ad+view© add-on, advertising customers can take the editorial applications already established in the magazines and use them for their own advertising content. The special feature is the revolutionary image recognition – completely without QR code – which enables 3-dimensional presentation and more.

An impressive example of the advertising benefits of this function using ad+view© can be seen in the new issue of TV Movie No. 20 (release date: 16th September). In addition to using intelligent print integration, our customer, BHW, shows a 3-D model of an energy-saving house, and a direct online link to additional content regarding the topic of energy savings (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4hvU7oRss4 ). This cross media concept, developed in collaboration with the media agency Optimedia, links the informative advantages of print with additional digital and mobile content.
