IVW 1/2012: Bauer Media Group expands online portfolio significantly
LECKER.de, WUNDERWEIB.de, Autozeitung.de and Bravo.de post strong growth
The latest IVW results of 1/2012 point to a successful start to the new year for the online portfolio of the Bauer Media Group. With a total of 20 million visits and 283 million page impressions, the six online portals combined registered a 17 per cent plus in visits and 28 per cent more page impressions compared with the annual average for 2011.
The food site LECKER.de doubled its reach in January 2012 compared to the same month last year, to a total of 1,843,168 visits (representing an increase of 103 per cent). Page impressions (PIs) increased by 75 per cent, to a total of 39,126,739.
With 2,900,422 visits and 42,506,688 page impressions, WUNDERWEIB.de posted a record result with its strongest month since the parent brand portal was launched. Compared to the same month last year, the figures represent a 48 per cent increase in visits.
Autozeitung.de is steadily expanding its reach: with 1,396,875 visits (up 41 per cent compared to 1/2011) and 13,961,323 page impressions (a plus of 16 per cent) in January 2012, the AUTO ZEITUNG website enjoyed its broadest reach to date.
Both the reach and market position of the Bauer Media Group’s youth portal are likewise developing positively, with performance values for BRAVO.de increasing to 2,700,337 page visits – a plus of 25 per cent – and 81,717,015 page impressions, representing a 39 per cent rise.
With 1,206,607 visits and 11,822,739 page impressions, the do-it-yourself portal selbst.de posted gains of 12 per cent and 39 per cent, respectively, versus the same month last year. TVMovie.de stabilised its position as the leading individual brand among online TV programme guides, with 9,922,354 visits and 93,849,236 page impressions in January 2012.
