The Bauer Media Group’s core business includes 396 popular magazines around the world as well as numerous special publications. The media company offers an extensive portfolio designed to meet the needs and interests of a broad audience.

By continuously introducing innovative concepts, the Bauer Media Group outpaces its competitors in its areas of expertise. Thanks to ongoing attention and care coupled with the continuous development and adaptation of its products to the needs of the market as well as investments in the quality of editorial content, Bauer Media Group for years has been a leader in its core segments. The company continues to expand its activities in all international markets.

In Germany the Group publishes 23 of the 100 top-selling magazines on the market – including the iconic brands NEUE POST, DAS NEUE BLATT and “auf einen Blick” as well as special interest magazines like Welt der Wunder. Top-sellers in international markets include Closer, GRAZIA and heat in the UK, InTouch Weekly, Woman’s World and First for women in the US, Tina in Poland and RYTMUS ZIVOTA in the Czech Republic.

Many popular magazines published by the Bauer Media Group are the clear market leaders in their core segments both in Germany and abroad: the TV listings tv14 in Germany, tv choice in the UK and Tele Tydzien in Poland, the women’s magazines tina in Germany, Take a Break in the UK, Twój STYL in Poland and Tainy Zvezd in Russia as well as the magazines of the BRAVO teen media brand family in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

The Group’s proven print concepts stand for market stability and continuity. In Germany, the magazine tina celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2010, TV Movie celebrated its 20th anniversary and tv Hören und Sehen looks back on already 50 successful years. Take a Break, heat and EMPIRE in the UK and PANI and Twój STYL in Poland have all been on the market for more than 20 years.

Successful launches of new magazines including Happinez, Germany’s first mindstyle magazine, the celebrity magazine SHOW in Poland, the women’s entertainment magazine Zvezdi I soveti in Russia and the society magazine RYTMUS zivota in Slovakia all are proof the media group’s powerful innovative drive. In 2011, the media group launched a total of 53 new magazines with the food magazine Mein Lieblings-Rezept in Germany, the science magazine Ideas&Discoveries in the US and GOLF ILLUSTRATED in the UK, to name just a few.

Many Bauer Media Group publications are market leaders in their segments and are regularly presented with awards in their home markets: The TV youth magazine BRAVO was named “Youth Magazine of the Year" in Russia, while the Russian Celebrity magazine Tainy Zvezd was named “bestselling Celebrity Magazine”.

In terms of the internationalisation of the Bauer Media Group magazine portfolio, flagship titles include the celebrity magazine InTouch, which is firmly established in its US home market as well as in Germany and Spain, and the teen media brand BRAVO featuring 12 international editions around the world.
